Ramasamy Wins Member’s Stableford Competition held at Al Badia Golf Club Dubai

In scorching heat and tough conditions at the course, the Member’s Stableford competition held at Al Badia Golf Club provided a deserving winner in Devan Ramasamy who carded an impressive 39 points.

Devan had a consistent round and had a great day on the Par 5’s scoring 12 points and a valuable 4 points on the tough 5th hole.
Division A was won by Colin Gow with 37 points. His round consisted of 10 pars and a birdie on the 18th hole which helped him secure the division on count back. Mike Groves settled in a runner up position in Division A who also had 37 points. Mike had 3 gross birdies in his round including 4 points on the 8th and 18th holes. He also played the last 6 holes in even par.

Division B winner was John Wartig with 36 points who also won his division on count back. John had 6 pars including the 5th hole and an impressive birdie on the Par 3, 3rd hole. John said he had a great putting round and owed it all to his new Scotty Cameron putter. The runner up in this division was Nick Groves who once again found himself in the prizes which is becoming a good habit. Nick had a consistent 36 points and also won the Nearest the Pin prize on the 7th Hole.
Longest Drive was won by Brett Armstrong on the Par 5, 13th hole.
