Boni Brings Home the Bacon at Al Badia Golf Club Dubai

A well participated member’s stableford tournament took place at the Al Badia Golf Club on October 17 with all the players aiming high to get the glory.

The day’s results were strong in both fields of A and B Division. A Division winner was awarded to Peter Baumbusch who finished at 38 points, enough to topple down his closest competitor, Iain Milligan who had 37 points. After a strong finish, John Allen wrestled to third place with 36 points, while Kieran O’Connor settled as runner up after gaining 35 points.

The leaders in the on course competitions included Chet Riley winning the longest drive, Tim Sephton taking the prize for his straightest shot, and both Greg Donaghy and Iain Milligan for winning the two nearest the pin rounds. 
However it was Marco Boni who provided the strongest performance of the day, driving his game to a 41 point finish, and being crowned the overall winner of October’s Stableford tournament at Al Badia Golf Club by InterContinental Dubai Festival city.
