No Stopping Nicol at the UAE PGA Montgomerie Dubai Medal

The season continued with a familiar theme at The Montgomerie Dubai today with the name of Callum Nicol at the top of the leaderboard. With a tightly bunched front nine of half a dozen players all within two shots of each other there was all to play for on the back nine.

Martyn Hamer continued his strong showing in his first 3 events with pars all the way on the back nine until the troublesome 18th where a bogey six left him with a 75 (+3). With two birdies in the last 3 holes this was matched by Malcolm Young but both players ultimately came up 1 short of Nicol who posted a 74 (+2) and once again stretches his lead in the Order of Merit with consecutive wins in the last two events.
