ECCO competitors battle through the sand storm at the Address Montgomerie
High winds swept across The Montgomerie Dubai course this weekend during the monthly members Ecco medal, creating some interesting scoring throughout the field.
Club Captain Paul Pitman put together a very solid gross 76, to win the gross division on countback over Artis Shepherd, who was subsequently awarded best division A net score by countback over Richard Smith both on net 69. Net division B winner Ahmad Skaik shot the best net score of the day with 68, to beat Rob Moody into second on 69.
In the ladies divisions, Annie Browne won with a gross 92 ahead of Francis Milne by one stroke, and Ananya Sharma again collected best net with 70, one stroke ahead of Sam Salem who shot 71.
