Yas Links Weekend Golf Results
On Friday 2nd August, Yas Links Abu Dhabi hosted their monthly Members Cadillac Medal.
Despite the humid conditions, Michael Revell shone through winning the net category with a very impressive net 69. Second place net was won by Graham Stuart with a very respectable Net 73. First place Gross winner was Emanuel Ostojic with a gross 75. Closely followed in second place was Roman Hawczak with a gross 77.
On Saturday 3rd August a full field of highly competitive golfers took to the links in bid to be crowned the 2013 Yas Links Ramadan Open Winners. The format of the competition was a pair’s betterball stableford. In third place with 42 points and just missing out on second place on count back was Yas members Emanuel Ostojic and Henry Kim. The pair just beating them to the Runner Up position was Aaron Schemeck and Simon Sinclair. The deserving winners however producing 44 points and showing great team work were Ian Miller and Wayne Snow. Also winning prizes on the day was Nick Lloyd and Yvette Heywood for Men and Ladies Nearest to the Pin and Emanuel Ostojic and Nicola Milton who won the Men and Ladies Longest Drive. The Ramadan Open is certainly a key fixture in the Summer Tournament schedule and the day proved to be a great success concluding with an Iftar buffet upon completion of play.
