Jumeirah Golf Estates June Rivoli Members Medal

As the warmer summer months arrive, the competitive feel remained strong in the Rivoli Monthly Medal, as the Jumeirah Golf Estates members braved the first true heat of summer in the June Medal.

Division A
Although slightly disappointed with his level of play, Chris Wilmot recorded a respectable 6 over par, 78 to collect the best gross prize. In the net category, Henrik Nielsen not only picked up the honours but also had the pride of recording the day’s best score with a superb 4 under par net score of 68 playing off a handicap of 10, whilst early starter, Shankar Majrekar claimed second place with a very commendable net score of 69.

Division B
It was a close contest in Division B, however, Dean Stothard stole the show and title with a great round of 66 net. Dean’s strong finish of three net birdies combined with an outward nine of net 31 allowed Dean to finish two places higher than when he finished 3rd in Aprils Rivoli medal again played on the Earth course. A net birdie birdie finish allowed Jon Nurse to claim second place in the medal as his net 69 was enough to nudge Eugene O’Doherty into third place by a single shot on net 70.

Ladies Division
Tania Gelasini collected the first place accolades with a 4 under par 66 net and was closely followed by Chloe Dillon with a net 68 in second place.
