Victory for Vandrey and Fardon in Al Badia February Officeland Monthly Open

The February Officeland Monthly Open was certainly a close call this weekend, with all playing extremely well. 

Jan Vandrey and Andy Fardon took the title of overall winners, carding a magnificent score of 44 points after a countback. Al Aqili Furnishing’s Mark Bryant and Terry Martin came a close second, finishing their round with 44 points as well. Mark Adams and Iain Milligan made it to the winner’s circle with team score of 42 points.

Mark Bryant impressed the crowd by winning the longest drive set at hole 12, which is considered to be one of the most difficult holes of the course, and Tarek Damerji took the prize for winning nearest to the pin in hole 7.

The well deserved victories were celebrated over a fine feast on the Blades Terrace were the winners were announced. As the Officeland Monthly series is drawing closer to the finals in April, Al Badia Golf Club would like to encourage more participants to stake their claim for an entry to the final round of the prestigious event.
