Yoon Crowned Champion at the Seniors Open Championship at Dubai Creek
D. Y Yoon fired a gross 75, +4 over par to be crowned Seniors Open Champion at Dubai Creek sponsored by Ping, Titleist and Footjoy on Friday 8th April.
Yoon, a talented two handicapper negotiated the testing windy conditions and carded consistent equal nines of two over par to win by a single shot.
Super Seniors Champion was awarded to Rajeh Malouf with a great score of net 72 and Ladies Champion Sabine Freyburger was honored with her net 74. In division ‘A’ John Fellingham claimed top spot with a net 71 by virtue of one shot over his back nine from Club Captain Joseph Andrade. Fellingham narrowly missed out on the overall title with a gross 76. Division B witnessed Nishith Patel’s net 70 win by virtue of his superb back nine by three shots from Gurmukh Guldu.
