Yas Links mixed open starts their season of open events
On Friday 28th October, Yas Links Golf Club held their eagerly awaited Mixed Open, an event which signals the start of their Open events
Scores as always for the top three positions were incredibly tight with just 1 shot separating each spot in the Better Ball format.
In third place with an impressive 62 Nett was Be and Chris Williams and In second place with a 61 Nett was Tony Martin and Anne Hornby. The winners with an sublime 59 Nett was Peter and Anne Bauer.
In addition to this Neil Haywood secured the Men’s Longest Drive and Muriel Gosselin secured the Ladies Longest Drive. Topping her win Anne Bauer also accomplished Ladies Nearest and Pin, the Men’s Nearest the Pin being won by Louis Gosselin.
Steven Morgan, Head Golf Professional said: ‘We always look forward to welcoming players from all over the UAE to participate in our Mixed Open event. With the course in such pristine condition and favorable weather conditions, all competitors thoroughly enjoyed their day. Once again our congratulations go to both Peter and Anne who were very worthy winners on the day with their score of 59 Nett.
