Yas Links Golf Club staff vs the members results

On Friday 16th, Yas Links Abu Dhabi hosted their Staff v’s Members Match. The format was match play. Competitiveness among both members and Yas Links staff was extremely high. After 9 holes the Yas Links Staff were in a good position to take a strong lead. However, a few miss hit by a couple of teams gave the Yas members extra chances. The members then went full steam ahead and continued to sink the winning puts.  As the remaining matches concluded the final score was 8 ½ – 1 ½ to Yas Links Members. Nevertheless an enjoyable day by all and a clear sign that the Yas Links staff are working too hard for their members.

 
With spirits still high on Saturday 17th the Yas Links members returned , this time for their members stableford event.  Proving their form from the day before third place with 37 points was Alex Barclay. Second place with an impressive 39 points was Gerard Letier-Lacaze. Taking first place with a grand 40 points was William Lisgo. Congratulations to you all!
