Yas Links Golf Club appoints new Chris Lager to cement leading Abu Dhabi junior coaching

Yas Links Golf Club are extremely pleased to announce the arrival of PGA Registered Assistant Chris Lager.

Chris who was previously attached to Cosby Golf Club in Leicestershire brings a wealth of Junior Coaching experience to Yas Links and will thus focus solely on developing junior golf in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

“Yas Links Abu Dhabi is home to one of the best facilities in the world and I am honoured to join the teaching team here. I bring lots of enthusiasm and energy to my coaching and look forward to growing the game of golf in the region” said Chris.

Before turning professional Chris enjoyed a bright amateur career, representing his county and most notably gained a bronze medal in the British Colleges Finals  Chris has worked hard to develop his Junior programs back in the UK and is now keen to bring this experience overseas and to further develop his coaching skills.
