Whiteside tops A Division April Medal at Al Ghazal Golf Club

Last Friday the Al Ghazal Golf Club’s April Monthly Medal saw Richard Whiteside record a nett 67 to win the A Division Medal; runner up by two shots was Mark Hayman.

This event was the last of the Golfer of the Year events and has been closely fought amongst the men’s category.  Hayman gained 16 points for his 69 and outright lead for the 2011/12 Top spot!

The Division B medal went to Vernon Whaanga with an impressive 68 from runner up David Parkinson three shots behind on 71.  Ever present Adda Haouara took the Division C Medal with a 71 by five shots from second placed David Tait on 76.

The Ladies Division was won by Bobo Bradley with a 73 on count back on the last 6 holes from second placed Kate Davies.  The 2011/12 Ladies Golfer of the Year was won by Ming Brown with 69 points from nearest rival Lizette Breytenbach on 64 points.
