Watts unexpected Crans Sur Sierre Victory at Al Hamra Golf Club

The annual Crans Sur Sierre trophy took place under perfect golfing conditions on Friday 19th October. The Crans Sur Sierre Trophy was presented to the golf club by the President of Crans Sur Sierre Golf Club in Switzerland and has become a flag ship event in the Al Hamra Golf Club fixtures and one that every member would like to win.

This years winner came in the form of Fred Watts, whose level par score of 36 points was enough to take the coveted title by one from Clive Rawlings who carded 35. Clive’s 4 points down the last hole couldn’t quite win him the title although it did give him the vital points he needed to get ahead of third place finisher Jake Petaja who finished with 34. There were two special events on the day which were picked up by Dan Blomstrand on Hole 11 and Otto Hoefer on Hole 15. Dan also picked up the only two on the day which picked him up the full pot of 190DHS.
