Watt and Hendry Power Way to Majlis BMW Medal Success

Daniel Hendry and David Watt were the stand out performers in the October BMW Monthly Medal over the Majlis course.

Having represented Scotland in the Boy’s Home Internationals in the summer Hendry continued his fine form with a 70 over the Dubai Desert Classic layout to clinch best gross of the day.
David Watt produced the best nett score of the day with a 67 to clinch Division B (handicap 13-23) by a 3-shot margin from Amresh Sangani and Kish Bandopadhyay.  

Jignesh Sangani signed for a 69 in Division A (handicap 0-12) to take top prize from Johnny Aldridge and Sun Jin Hwang.
Hal Hemmerich clinched first prize in Division C (handicap 24 and above) with a 78.
The top 15 from division A & B qualified for the Men’s Singles Matchplay Championship.
