Waseem Qureshi wins ERL Monthly Stableford at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club

Saturday 19th November saw the return of the ERL sponsored Monthly Stableford at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. With both a morning and afternoon shotgun, golfers have a choice of when they would like to play their 18 hole round.

Scoring on the day was superb with hugely improving golfer Waseem Qureshi winning by a mammoth 7 stableford points, Qureshi playing of a handicap of 27 managed to return his scorecard with 47 points, his 18 holes included 5 gross pars and 2 gross birdies.

Second spot on the day went to Ali Jan Jamal who scored 40 points narrowly beating William Neilson on a scorecard playoff. Jamal’s score was a tale of two halves with 16 points on the outward 9 and 24 points coming home. Neilson who had to settle for third spot could only muster a back 9 of 19 points. The best gross of the day went to Mark Dupree.
