Victory for the Caroline as the Lady Captain’s team beats the Lady Vice Captain’s team at Emirates Golf Club

Caroline Jones led her team to victory against Glynis Hendry and her Vice captain’s team.

This pairs team matchplay event was played in ideal conditions over the Majlis course. Caroline Jones and her partner, ex lady captain Jenny Ayres won their match 3&2 against lady vice captain Glynis Hendry and Barbara Head. This closely fought match helped her Caroline’s team to an overall triumph – 7.5 points to 2.5.

The biggest winning score for the Lady Captain’s team was a 7&6 win for Chris Dyball and Mags Breen against Vera Woolnough and Lyn Born. For the Vice Captain’s team, the biggest winning score was 7 & 5 for Viv Caley and Elise Hanson against Lynne Dickinson and Nina Larm.
