Valencia wins Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club Midweek 9 Hole Medal

Arnel Valencia proved supreme in the recent Centro Sharjah By Rotana Midweek 9 Hole Medal played at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. A 5 under net score of 31 was enough to see him home for first spot by just one stroke, 5 pars and a gross birdie for the 16 handicapped golfer topped a wonderful evening’s golf.

Seongeon O.H finished just one back on a net 32, a birdie on the tough par 4 2nd hole was the highlight of his round, he settled for the winners spot in Division one. The Division two winning prize went to Sharjah regular Jaydeep Sarkar who posted a very commendable net 34.

With an increased number of golfers in the field, a further two prizes were awarded to the runners-up in both divisions, they went to Ian Delahunt for Division two and B.J Kim for Division one, both golfers beating a number of others on a scorecard countback.
