Founded in 1996, the UAE Professional Golfers' Association is a recognized sports body representing over 150 fully qualified PGA golf professionals in the UAE.
The organization runs under the umbrella of the Emirates Golf Federation who are the governing body of golf in the United Arab Emirates. Members of the organization undertake a wide variety of roles in the golf industry across the UAE, the majority of which are in managerial, operational, retail and teaching positions in golf clubs and golf related business in the UAE.
The association exists primarily for the benefit and development of its members, and also plays a significant role as the custodian of the professional game and developing the sport across cultural and religious boundaries with the support of Emirati and junior development programs throughout the UAE.
