Tsukiori wins Ladies May Stroke Play at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
The season’s final monthly Ladies Stroke Play sponsored by Park Hyatt took place on Tuesday 15th May 2012 at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. As always the ladies set off bright and early which allowed them to complete most of their round before the hotter part of the day arrived. Winning on the day, and keeping her superb run of form going, was Yuko Tsukiori with a net score of 69. This was Tsukiori’s third victory in just eight months and it is these wins that have allowed her to enjoy luxury spa treatments and meals in the beautiful Park Hyatt hotel, the provider of the winners’ prize vouchers.
It was a closely contested battle for the runner-up spot between G.A. Cho and Ladies Captain Mego Han. Both ladies finished with net scores of 72 but it was Cho who was victorious after winning on the count-back. The prize winners were presented with the Park Hyatt vouchers by Dubai Creek Golf Professional Craig Waddell. After the presentation Craig commented; “It has been great to be involved in this event and to see it become such a success. I would like to say a big thank you to the Park Hyatt’s General Manager Adrian Slater and all of his team for their continued support and I hope we can carry this forward through into next season”.
