Tour Pros to battle it out at Al Ghazal golf Club

Past winners Musbah, Bain, Payne and Charawani to try their luck again.

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), The Number One Bank in the UAE, one of the top 50 safest banks in the World, and sponsors of this weekend’s 37th Men’s Abu Dhabi Open Golf Championship, at the Al Ghazal Golf Club (AGGC) will be looking on in anticipation as past winners Bahrain’s Ali Musbah, Professionals Ross Bain and Simon Payne along with home player Alex Charawani will be vying to win the Championship Silver Salver.

All the Professionals playing will not only be competing for the coveted Silver Salver but for a Dhs. 15,000.- purse.  The amateurs although not eligible for the cash prizes, will still be looking to give all the professionals playing a run for their money, so the stage is set for a great weekend’s golf.  “Spectators are most welcome to come along to the AGGC and watch the tournament unfold”, said Club Captain Will Low.

Mr. Mark Pritchard of National Bank of Abu Dhabi will be presenting the prize money and trophies on behalf of the bank after the second round on Saturday.

This event is sanctioned by the Emirates Golf Federation and is an order of Merit event.
