Third event of the Interem Dubai Golf Series was played at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

The third event of the Interem Dubai Golf Series was played at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. Sixty players from all over the UAE braved the soaring temperatures to take part and have the chance of playing the stunning creek-side course.

The winner on the day with an excellent score of 35 stableford points was scratch golfer Stephen Reid of the Emirates Golf Federation who won on the count back over Charles Blincow (Emirates Golf Club) and Serifa D’Souza (Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club).  Reid played very solidly all day producing a gross one-over par 72 with his only mistake coming as a double bogey on the 6th hole.  For his efforts he collected a beautiful Scotty Cameron putter donated by Titleist for his efforts.

After the event Reid commented “I am delighted with my score today as it was very tough with the heat.  I thoroughly enjoyed my day.  The course was in great condition and I’m looking forward to the final event of the series at Emirates Golf Club in September”.
