The Saadiyat Beach Golf Club Rosewood Bowl race is on as Martin levels with Johnstone and Mann
Competition is about to get very heated this summer at the stunning Saadiyat Beach Golf Club as Steve Martin became one of only three members to clinch the title of ‘two-time Rosewood Bowl Champion’.
Steve shot a net score of 73 to beat a very respectable field and secure his name once again on the impressive Rosewood Bowl trophy. In contention for his third Rosewood Bowl win was fellow two-time winner Ken Johnstone who came up just one shot short, carding a net score of 74. John Hartley and Lars Lindskov tied for third place, both scoring net 76.
Having won his first Rosewood Bowl Monthly Medal competition in March earlier this year, Steve now joins Ken Johnstone and Colin Mann in the tense race for the record-setting, illusive third win.
“It was great to win the Rosewood Bowl for a second time,” said Steve. “The conditions for the day were good, and the offshore breeze helped a lot! I am definitely going for the hat trick.
