Taking place from 31st October until 3rd November, The Residence Tunis will once again be hosting the Pro-Am golf tournament giving professional golfers the opportunity to compete on the hotel’s magnificent course designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. Gifted with beautiful views, 14 lakeside holes and a collection of delicate fairways, the course is known globally as one of the best places to play golf in Northern Africa.

The Residence launched its first Pro-Am The Residence By Cenizaro Golf Tour approved by PGA France in September 2017, sponsored by Tunisair, the National Office of Tunisian Tourism and led by the Tunisian Federation of Golf. Since then, the tournament has seen professionals travel from around the world to take part in the prestigious competition.

With players arriving on the 31st October, the festivities kick off with team presentations, welcome gifts and a cocktail reception, giving everyone the chance to meet and mingle. The teams tee off at 9.30am on 1st November, with a gourmet break at hole 10 – meanwhile, non-golfers will be treated to a trip to the ancient city of Carthage and the quaint town of Sidi Bou Saiïd for a spot of shopping. The day ends with an ESPA treatment at the spa followed by dinner at the Chinese restaurant. Day two of the tournament follows a similar format, ending with a Gala Dinner and awards ceremony.

During the competition, The Residence Tunis provides players the chance to discover new depths of relaxation, sunbath on the beach and heed the call to mind and body wellness at The Spa & Thalasso, all whilst staying in total luxury in one of the 161 rooms and nine suites. As well as having a wealth of fabulous facilities, this chic yet comfortable hotel offers a great location, perfect for visiting the nearby sights in Tunis and Carthage.

Throughout the tournament, the Pros benefit from free accommodation and a plane ticket in economy class on a Tunisiair flight. Additionally, an allocation of 2000€ will be awarded to the first three Pros in individual ranking. Registration for Pro-Am The Residence is done by Pro Team and 3 Amateurs and costs 800€ for the entrance fee. The Pro must hold a valid PGA France or Europe License.
