The Perfect Duo Wins Again at Al Badia Golf Club

On Friday 26th August Al Badia Golf Club held there Taylor Made sponsored Summer Swing Betterball Open. It was a great day at Al Badia with the course in great condition and the cool breeze taking the edge of the summer heat. Over 50 players turned out to compete for the great prizes put up by Taylor Made.

The winners on the day were Al Badia Club Champion Brett Armstrong and John Guest. The pair had an impressive 45 points to take the Open title and the new R11 Driver and voucher! They had 5 Gross birdies between them and combined well as a team.   Shot of the day from the pair was Brett’s birdie putt on the 7th from 25 feet down the slope. This is the pair’s second victory in as many weeks so are certainly the Pair to Beat.

Second place went to Richard Kim and H.S Park who also had 45 points but just missed out on count back. The pair had a great day making 13 gross pars between them and H.S Park having the round of his life. For the Runners up position they received the new Taylor Made Ghost putter and voucher.
3rd place pairing was Clive Stanley and Tina Bogale. The pair had 44 points with 25 on the back nine, including three 4 point holes!  For their prize they received a goody bag from Taylor Made.

After the round all the players enjoyed a BBQ and prize presentation in the Spikes Bar.
Men’s Nearest the pin went to Chris Ward and Longest Drive was won by Colin Gow. Ladies Longest drive was won by Caroline Lamb.
