The Track Meydan Golf Club News

The hunt for the first course record holder at the Track Meydan is on

The city’s newest golf course is giving players the chance to be crowned the first ever official course record holder.

On Thursday January 17th, golfers from across the country will head to The Track, at Meydan, with the goal of shooting the lowest score of the day.

Handicaps will not be taken into account and the event is open to everyone with an entry fee of just 200 AED.
The winner will go into the record books and have their name inscribed on The Track’s wall of fame in addition to a prize from Taylormade.

Officials from The Track and the Emirates Golf Federation will be out on the course from noon when the first course record competitors will be teeing off.

Paul Dennis, General Manager at The Track, said: “We know there have been some incredible scores out on The Track.
“But now we need to find the first ever official course record holder who will go down in the record books forever.

“Every golfer is in with a chance and there is going to be some fierce competition.
“All it takes is for one player to catch fire on the day and they will be going home the winner – it’s going to be a very special afternoon.”
