The ‘Green Keepers Revenge’ at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club
The Academy Course at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club held its first ever ‘Green Keepers Revenge’ Tournament on Saturday the 29th Of October.
Superintendent, Matt Perry, had certainly prepared the course to severely test the field of 72 competitors. Special features on the course included a tractor and trailer in the middle of the first hole, the fifth tee placed in a bunker and some outrageously difficult pin positions. The tournament, sponsored by relocation specialists Interem, was a tightly fought affair.
After finishing equal on a score of 29, third place went to the team of Aditya Judge and Jai Bhalla who were edged out on count back for second by the father and son combination of John and Rayhan Thomas. The winners of the event were Par 3 course specialists Sergei and Sam D’Souza with a score of 28.
