The 2012 Shaikh Rashid Trophy sponsored by Jebel Ali Golf Resort returns on the 22nd november
The 2012 Shaikh Rashid Trophy sponsored by Jebel Ali Golf Resort, one of the most popular events on the UAE amateur golf calendar,tees off on the 22nd November.
Organised by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) and sponsored by Jebel Ali Golf
Resort the tournament traditionally attracts entries from leading amateurs from the UAE and afield.
Round 1 of the 54-hole Men’s stroke play tournament will be held at The Els Club Dubai and the 2nd round will be played at the Al Badia Golf Club. There will be a cut after 36 holes with top 30 and ties competing in Final round at Jebel Ali Golf Resort Course.
The event is a qualifier for the R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking. EGF Order of Merit points are granted to resident golfers who finish within top 20.

The Tournament entry form is available on EGF website www.emiratesgolffederation.com and has also been circulated to the golfing fraternity in the UAE as well to overseas national bodies. Entries close on Thursday, 15th November 2012
