Taylor and Devries claim Green Jacket Greensomes at Al Badia Golf Club

In the spirit of the Masters this past month, Al Badia Golf Club held the inaugural Green Jacket Greensomes event where great teamwork was manifested in the two-player teams.

The dazzling duo of Bill Taylor and Jurry Devries took top honours with a net 70 managing to narrowly slide ahead of the runners up pair of Richard Kim and Young Hun Park via count back.  Highlights for Taylor and Devries came on the par 5 13th hole where their incredible collaboration resulted in a birdie on the second toughest hole.  Kim and Park’s combined efforts were most successful on the par 5’s where they birdied the 8th and 18th to finish on a high. 

Rounding up third place in the winner’s circle was Stewart Adams and Saul Neiger with their net score of 73.

The on course events saw veteran Mark Fitzpatrick claim longest drive on hole 9 with Steve Kelshaw and Stewart Adams declaring closest to the pin on holes 11 and 18 respectively.
