Tan Triumphant at the Taylormade Series 3rd Qualifier at Al Badia Golf Club

Marking the third of five TaylorMade Series qualifiers, conditions were ideal for competitors to shoot low for their chance to win a spot in the series final in December.

The top 20 gross and top 20 net players will be selected based on their top three performances over the five qualifiers.  
Capturing the Gross Division, Zhendong Tan warded off fierce competition to take the win by 1 over Kieran O’Connor. 

Tan produced nines of 37 and 39 to achieve his winning gross total of 76 which included a birdie on the toughest hole on the golf course, the par 5 fifth.  
Yoshiko Kawakami proved victorious in the Net Division picking up her first win of the season with her net score of 68 which was reached with consistent nines of 44 and 45 playing off her handicap of 21. 

Narrowly behind in the runner-up position was Mike Beggs carding a net 69 including a magnificent birdie on the difficult par 3 third.
