Suresh Shewakramani took top honours in the September edition of Dubai Creeks BMW medal. In what proved to be tough scoring conditions, Mr. Shewakramani managed to complete the course with a best of the day net 71. This gave him a 3 shot winning margin from the runner in Division B, Aziz Al Hakim.
In Division A, the net 72 of Rakesh Shah proved good enough for a 2 stroke win over the ever competitive Pat Morrow.
The ladies section was won by Joy Lirio, her net score of 74 edging out second placed competitor Maureen Platt. In the gross category, Farbod Dowlatshahi showed some steady early season form by posting a winning score of 75.
In the new and ever expanding junior section of Dubai Creek, Hrithik Khurana’s net score of 75 proved good enough to secure his maiden victory. With the number of juniors at the club increasing all the time, the junior section will soon become one of the most competitive at the golf club.
