Sri Lankan Golfer Vijitha Bandara to be sponsored for MENA Golf Tour Events by UAE based Falcon Golf Arabia
Sri Lanka Golf Union Pin Fernando Grand-Prix 2013 Winner, Vijitha Bandara from Victoria Golf & Country Resort, turned Pro early in 2014, leaves for Dubai shortly to participate in the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) Golf Tour.
The fourth edition of the MENA Golf Tour, an initiative by the Shaikh Maktoum Golf Foundation. With support from the Arab Golf Federation and R&A, the tour is aimed at the best MENA amateur and professional players, along with eligible players from the around the world. Each tournament receives official R&A recognition and carries World Amateur Ranking points.
GolfLK in association with Falcon Golf Arabia, UAE with the blessings of the Sri Lanka Golf Union, have sponsored Vijitha Bandara to participate in 2 of the 9 Events starting from 17th March to 4th November 2014. Vijitha will participate in Dubai Creek Open 14-17th September & Sheikh Maktoum Dubai Open at Al Badia Golf Club 21-24th September 2014.
