Spring Pitches and Putts His Way to Victory in the Abu Dhabi Golf Club Troon Golf and Taylor Made Short Game Challenge

Regular Abu Dhabi Golf Club player Corey Spring claimed victory in the first ever Troon Golf / TaylorMade Shortgame Challenge player under floodlights at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Spring scored an impressive gross score of 21 shots over nine holes which after his handicap being taken away gave him a score of 17 shots for the round, to pip Abu Dhabi Golf Club members Mi Ran Lee and Darren Bradshaw into second and third place respectively.
 
Players who took part played the golf course from distances of less than 50 yards, as part of a shotgun start, where Taylor Made golf balls were randomly positioned around to green to ensure players played a wide variety of short game shots to test their skills to the maximum.
 
Despite being a completely new format of golf for the players everyone thought the ideas was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
