Spinks captures Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s April Monthly Medal
Abu Dhabi Golf Club held its April Monthly Medal with a near full field of 48 players.
It was yet again another perfect day with ideal scoring conditions of which the members took full advantage.
Winning this month’s medal from the Men’s 15+ Handicap division was Paul Spinks who shot a tremendous round of 65 Net to pip Mark Jenkins on count-back. The pair’s scores were so tight throughout the day that the count-back came down to the last three holes.
Within the Men’s 14 and below handicap division, Kevin Jamieson shot an impressive Net score of 72, which was just enough to hold off Sung Jin Hwang on count-back.
The best gross score of the day went to the recently crowned Club Champion, Alastair Crombie, who showed great form and carded a score of 72.
The Ladies Net Division was won by Muriel Gosselin with a score of 76, while second place went to Shari Corbin, who shot a Net score of 78.
