Special Presentations at Al Ghazal Golf Club Abu Dhabi

Along with the prizes presentations, there were two very special presentations made at the AGGC last Friday one for the ultimate ‘ACE’ and one for an ACE Charity – the Special Care Centre Abu Dhabi.

David Parkinson joined the Hole In One Club recently after scoring his ‘ACE’ on the third hole at the Al Ghazal Golf Club during the Gun Trophy Tournament last week.  As the event was a Golfer of the Year and Trophy event he is eligible for the Rivoli ‘Montblanc Award’ and will receive a Montblanc pen along with a special AGGC Certificate.

The other special presentation was to Mrs. Kmar Cherif – Executive Coordinator and Events Manager of the Special Care Centre, Abu Dhabi – Donate a Brick fund.  The donation made by the Members of the AGGC was part of the annual Captains Charity Fund which over the season generates funds from members’ penalties, fund raising events from Hit n Giggles and other fun events.  Past Captain William Low and current Captain Juma Mussa on behalf of Lady Captain Pauline Jeynes presented the specially prepared cheque by National Bank of Abu Dhabi to Mrs. Kmar who in return gave a thank you card prepared by the Children of the SPCC to the AGGC.  Past Captain Will Low said “the donation was to a very worthwhile cause and everyone should continue to help as much as possible for the children of the SPCC”.
