Sneaky Svensson in Al Hamrs Golf Club Stableford Victory

Paul Svensson sneaked the first position after coming out top of a card play-off with fellow lady member Rabab Al Haj.

Both players carded solid rounds of 35 points which meant there would be a count back over the back nine holes to decide the winner. Unfortunately for Rabab, her 17 points was no match for Paula’s brilliant score of 21 points, which included 4 net birdies and just the one dropped shot.

A further one point back on 34 was member Bob Atkins who managed to come back in 18 points after a disappointing 16 on the front, resulting in the third podium spot. The two special events were picked up by Cam Irwin for his nearest the pin effort on hole 7, whilst Matt Fountain had the closest shot on hole 15.

Tony Cashman recorded the only two for the day scooping up a nice 120dhs.
