The winner on the day was Sekhar Reddy with a fantastic score of 38 points. Sekhar’s name will go on the trophy, but he has also claimed a spot in the qualifier to play in the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour event Pro-am at Al Hamra Golf Club next month. We wish him the best success in his challenge!

The tributes were pouring in for the late great Mike Gerbich, past Captain of Emirates Golf Club. Incoming Captain Paul Byrne offered a very candid toast amongst all at the prizegiving in memory of ‘The Gerb’. Club Manager, Barney Coleman, offered a refreshing insight into the character of ‘The Gerb’ and his effect on all those he came into contact with at Emirates Golf Club.
