Sehmi wins the Ladies Monthly Medal at Emirates Golf Club

The February edition of the Ladies Monthly medal was played on the Majlis Course and with the Greens still up at tournament speed following the Dubai Desert Classic conditions were set for a great day of golf.

Kavita Sehmi had a superb front 9 of 34 including a birdie 2 on hole 4 and a further birdie on hole 8. This added to her back 9 of 40 gave her victory in both overall Gross (74) and also best net in Silver “A” Division (Hcp 0-14) of 70. The ever consistent Rosemary Turlik took the Runners up spot with a net 73 which included a nice birdie 2 on hole 11.

In the Silver “B” Division (Hcp 15-23) Hiromi Ohashi took the top honours with a nice net 72, 1 shot ahead of SL Rim who finished runner up with a net 73

The Bronze Division (Hcp 24-42) top spot was taken by Fiona Munro with a best of the day net 70
