Sangani Stars in Tournament of Champions on the Majlis at Emirates Golf Club

The season ending Tournament of Champions witnessed all the winners from the season come together in a strokeplay format. Jignesh Sangani took a starring role by carding a victorious net 69 over the Majlis course. The highlight of Sangani’s round was a birdie four at the 527-yard 10th hole.

Rabih Sfeila and Kuttan Malattiri both carded one under par rounds of 71 but it was Sfeila’s better back nine that gifted him runners-up position. Vikram Judge produced an excellent performance and took best gross of the day with a 71.

The prize distribution for the men’s singles and doubles matchplay championships took place with Dalip Tripathi winning the singles over Haris Michaelides by 1up. Scott Doak and Ewan Cameron clinched the doubles matchplay title for the second time with a 2 & 1 triumph over brothers Mark and Paul Donovan.
