Safi wins december Coral Beach resort midweek bogey at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club

Omar Safi claimed his first win on Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club soil in the recent Coral Beach Resorts Midweek Bogey. An excellent nine holes of golf concluded in him finishing with a score of 2up against the course and just one stroke clear of a bunch of 8 golfers.

With the eight golfers then vying for the winning positions in the two divisions it went down to a very close scorecard count back. Keith Smithard finished the strongest in Division A ahead of the likes of Khan, Thompson, Kavanagh and Sheikh. The division B award went to junior golfer Zubair Bin Idris who was also fortunate enough to have the stronger finish, superb golf of late has helped the youngster claim prizes in his last three starts.

All three winning golfers receive pro shop vouchers to be spent at Sharjah, plus luxury culinary vouchers courtesy of the magnificent Coral Beach Resort in Sharjah.
