Saadiyat Beach Golf Club Unveils New Look Golf Academy for 2013
The Saadiyat Beach Golf Club Academy welcomes two new golf professionals to the teaching team this year. Danny Jakubowski and Martin Robinson both bring a wealth of experience to the renowned Academy kick starting 2013 with a bang at the Troon Golf managed club.
Danny takes on the exciting role as Group Director of Instruction for both Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club. He hopes to supplement the already comprehensive coaching programmes, bringing his enthusiasm and energy to the Gulf’s first beachfront course. He has spent the past five years in the UAE developing golf instruction, including three years at The Abu Dhabi Golf Institute. In that time Danny spearheaded important initiatives such as the junior “Future Falcon” programme, the ladies “Golf in the Garden” event and “Fitness for Golf” sessions. Danny will be looking to bring fresh ideas and synergies to the Saadiyat team to further its offering for members and guests:
“I want to bring some of the ideas I developed at Abu Dhabi Golf Club across to Saadiyat to offer our students a diverse range of coaching options and programmes. I’m looking forward to joining an outstanding team of international talent to continue delivering the standard of service Troon is world-famous for,” said Danny.
Martin Robinson joins as a Senior Instructor and manager. A NLP Master Practitioner, he joins from Abu Dhabi Golf Club, where he successfully developed the Institute’s “Trained Brain” package which tackled the mental game of golf. His expertise has seen him coaching at prestigious venues in England and Bahrain. He is passionate about helping people develop both the physical and mental facets of their game through a practical and holistic approach.
“I’m looking forward to providing a well-rounded, highly enjoyable learning experience to the students at Saadiyat,” comments Martin.
“One area I’m keen to develop at the Academy is the neuro-linguistic programming coaching, which was hugely successful at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. I’m going to really enjoy applying my insights and expertise in a new environment as part of a world-class coaching team.”
