Ryder Cup event at The Montgomerie Dubai

In honor of our clubs namesake The Montgomerie, Dubai hosted the 2010 Ryder Cup event supported by AGMC BMW and ECCO.

Though the Ryder Cup saw rain delays and stoppage of play here at The Montgomerie,Dubai the weather was beautiful and two excellent days of golf were played. With the newly reopened greens on the back all competitors were happy to see the newly redesigned #13 and the challenges it had to bring.

Coming in a close second place was the team of John Ewing, Mark Watson, Martin Lambert and Kurt Dinucci missing out on the championship by a slim margin of .45 shots. The team that bested the field consisted of Maneesh Dungarwal, Avinash Pangarkar, Nadir Mohammadi, and Aziz Majid.

Each of the winners received a framed and signed flag from the European team Captain Colin Montgomerie.
