Rice and Luke take the honors at the Dubai Creek Challenge

Edward Rice and Ryan Luke fired a superb betterball score of 40 points to take the honors at the inaugural Dubai Creek Challenge sponsored by Seven Seas Ship Chandlers, EPL FZCo and Auvest on Friday 15th April.

The windy conditions did not prevent the low handicap duo from carding four gross birdies and fourteen solid pars between them to win by a single shot from the full field of fifty two pairs.

Anish Bhatia and Suresh Shewakramani finished runners up with 39 points and Humayun Shahryar and Julien Pfeil alone in third place with 38 points.  Nearest the pins on the 5th and 14th holes were won by great iron shots from Joseph Andrade and Erick Matabang.  Longest drives of the day were won on the 4th and 12th holes by Naema Maya and Ryan Luke.

An amazing raffle was presented with many prizes kindly donated and the lucky winner of the main prize of a three night cruise courtesy of Royal Caribbean was George Khairallah.
