Registrations now open as the Al Ghazal Golf Club Launches the 2014 Al Ghazal Sand Golf Series

Al Ghazal Golf Club, the UAE’s best 18-hole desert sand golf course, is pleased to announce the inaugural Al Ghazal Sand Golf Series.

This series is Al Ghazal’s official return to regional championship level tournaments so why not get involved in a unique golfing experience?
The 1st of four challenging stages starts on September 26th and the series welcomes all amateurs with a valid EGF handicap and is played in a Pairs Betterball Stableford format.

There will be prizes at each of the stages and a “Grand Prize” of a golf destination trip for 2 to “Scotland, The Spiritual Home of Golf”
“Special Guests” attending Round 1 on Friday September 26th will be the stunning Czech Model, Simona Dvorakova who plays off of a 13.8 handicap.  The very talented Simona also coaches tennis and is a ski instructor and she will be partnering with one of our lucky registered golfers on the day.

Also attending will be Guinness World Record Holder and English professional golfer (Asian Tour), Jake Shepherd.  Jake holds the world record for “farthest golf shot caught in a moving car.”  His ball speed maxed out at 178mph and the ball was caught by F1 legend, David Coulthard 275 metres away from the tee.  Jake will be matching his skills against yours in a “Beat The Pro Challenge,” you don’t want to miss!
