Redley Ready For The January Open Stableford at Al Hamra Golf Club

Chris Redley picked up the January Open Stableford title with a one point victory after a dazzling back nine.   Chris carded 3 net birdies and one net eagle in a five under back nine of 23 points to follow up 16 points on the front, giving him a winning score total of 39 points.

This turned out to be one better than second place finisher Jeff Hume who produced two identical nines of 19 points giving him a total of 38 points. This included four net birdies and two net eagles in a rollercoaster up and down round. Jeff then had a three point clear gap on third place finisher Steve Rayment who’s 35 points was only enough to pick up the last podium spot.

The two special events for the competition were picked up by John Hood for his efforts on hole four and Bill Parker for his fine shot into hole 11.
