Rayment Majestic in Al Hamra Monthly Medal Victory

The February Monthly Medal got underway early Friday morning under slightly cool cloudy conditions with a full packed field of regular members.

With two Gross prizes and two Net prizes there was plenty up for grabs along with vital order of merit and eclectic points.

The Runner-Up prize in the Net devision came down to a card play-off between Husam Al Sayed and Eric Engelbrecht as both players finished with a 73, but with a better back nine by one stroke it was Husam who stepped onto the podium. The Net Champion for this month was Rae Kondes who put together a great round of 68 to see her win it by 5 shots.

The Gross runner-up prize went to Rita Engelbrecht who posted a steady 82 with the first prize and being crowned February Monthly Medal Champion going to Steve Rayment who shot 79, enough to win by 3. There was only one two this week which went to Rae Kondes who picked up a nice voucher worth 340 DHS.
