Rayment and Kondes clinch final Medal honours of 2010

In the final Monthly Medal of 2010 Al Hamra members battled it out in perfect conditions for the right to be crowned champion in the gross and net divisions.

With fierce competition ever consistent Steve Rayment tip toed his way through the front 9 in just 37 impressive strokes before the tough 10th hole bite back to claim another victim and a treble bogey on the card. For most this would have been too mush to take however resilient Rayment kept his calm to hold off charges from the Engelbrecht family who finish second (Rita) and third (Eric) to claim another top spot in the gross division.

In the net division Rae Kondes negotiated her way successfully around the course scoring an impressive 71 to claim the winners prize after fighting off two member that have been working hard on their games over the past weeks proving that hard work really does pay off. Hermes Frare finished second just 2 shots back with Sarah De Roose winning a card play off to claim third place.
