Ramage and McKelvey Rivoli Monthly Medal Champions at Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Eddie Ramage returned a gross two over par 74 to win the October Rivoli Monthly Medal supported by Speed Cleaning. Ramage one of the Clubs top performers and current Club Captain had a steady performance and got the job done on a day tough for scoring, Ramage posted nines of 40 and 34 on his way to the winning score. The Champion was impressive from tee to green posting 5 gross birdies during his round with three of those on his back nine. 

Ramage commented after his round ‘I’m happy with my performance today, it is a special event to win.” Ramage continued: “I’m especially delighted to have qualified for the Men’s Singles Matchplay Championship in this the first qualifying event.” 

In the Men’s division the net round of the day belonged to Division B Champion Matthew Derrick who posted a net 65. Derrick put in a brilliant performance to edge out Gleb Fenwick who posted a net 68 to take the runners up spot. 

In the Ladies Division Adele McKelvey returned to form with a fantastic 77 to win the gross title.

McKelvey had a solid round with nines of 39 and 38 playing steady regulation golf and avoiding any big mistakes.

Jane Bruce Smith had the round of the day winning the ladies net title with a 62, eight shots clear of runner up Lise Slane.
