Ramage and Evans are Rivoli Monthly Medal Champions at Arabian Ranches Golf Club
Eddie Ramage (5) returned a gross four over par 75 to win the August Rivoli Monthly Medal supported by Speed Cleaning played at ARGC on Friday, 3rd August. Ramage swept aside the competition with a brilliant performance in perfect summer conditions. Ramage a regular competitor in the Monthly Medal managed to defeat a small but strong field packed with single figure golfers capable of shooting low scores. The Champion had consistent 9’s of 36 and 39 and won by a clear three shots from runner up Kevin Barrett. Despite blemishing the 13th hole, Ramage posted 2 gross birdies on back nine to limit the damage to a 39.
Ramage commented after his round ‘We appreciate the support from Rivoli making this the premier event for the members to compete in every month.
The division “A” Net title and round of the day belonged to a Tony Grayling (12) who posted a brilliant Net 69 defeating Andy Barker by two shots.
In division “B” Paul Charles Baxte (18), Newly joined member and a supporter of the weekly events took his first title by posting a gross 84, net 66 with an eight shots clear over Aryaan Kumar.
In the Ladies division, Karen Evans (14) claimed the Gross title with a solid and considering her best performance ever posting 80 on her way to victory competing against a hand full of Ladies the title was up for grabs to anyone player on the day. Ksenia Grayling (22) was crowned net Champion, Player of the day and also her first best ever tournament score posting gross 86 net 64.
