Ramage and Graham dominate INFINITI Golf Day at Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Eddie Ramage and Colin Graham scored 49 Stableford points to win the Infiniti two player team event held Friday, 27th January at Arabian Ranches. The format for the event was Betterball Stableford.

Each player used their handicap index as the allowance to be taken at the appropriate stroke index holes. The best net score between the two players was recorded in Stableford points at each hole. A net score of par gives you 2 points, net birdie 3 points, net eagle 4 points and a net bogey gives you 1 point.

The winners’ card consisted of two halves of 24 and 25 points. Having started on hole 10 in the shotgun format with 30 teams competing in the Men’s division their round included seven net birdies and three net Eagles.
The pair used the Betterball format to perfection and on only one occasion scored worse than a net par.
 
The Champions were closely pursued by eventual runners-up Tom Freer and Gary Livingston who narrowly missed out after posting 47 points.

In the Ladies/Mixed Division Lise Slane & Brian Hollis took the spoils after a nail biting finish when the winners had to be decided over a count back. Slane & Hollis found themselves tied with Kevin & Amanda Barrett on 45 points, but the stronger back nine sealed the title for the pair.
