Prince Andrew returns to the throne in the May UAE Golf Online Sateeday Stableford
The UAE Golf Online Sateeday Stableford returned to the Jebel Ali Golf Resort for the last time before the arrival of the UAE summer.

After some recent unusual weather here in Dubai the heat and sun returned in style to give the attending players, who were from all over the UAE, a solid test.
With the usual eclectic mix of UAE Golfers, the field went out hoping to beat the retaining title holder Andrew Dick who was cut down a few points on his handicap after tasting success in his last outing.
The course was in great condition, the greens as always firm and unforgiving, so it was game on and the players had a good go at prizing the title out of Andy’s grip.
There was some mixed golf played throughout the day and as the breeze increased and the players reached the back 9 the heat took its toll a little. The scores slowed slightly but several players managed to birdie the tough hole 8 on the high point of the course with the wind gathering speed from the left.
Although al the entrants battled hard, the previous champion Andrew came out on top and showed solid golf throughout the round finishing on a score of 37 points to cap off a superb double win going into the summer unbeaten in the Sateeday Stableford. He held off a stern challenge from Paul Radley who finished second on 35 points and Thomas Fiala who came in a creditable 3rd place on only his second outing on the course.
